I'm a little late to the podcast party (Sorry) and would appreciate recommendations for hidden gems, must listen items etc. Thus far I only have Inside the Huddle for NFL, and The West Ham Way for all things WHU related. There does seem to be a fair amount of chaff out there that I would like to circumvent en route to the wheat.

Tips appreciated.

Also, Song Exploder is really good. They talk to composers, musicians and songwriters about how a song was constructed.

The Michael Kiwanuka episode is really good. They only last about 20 mins too.

The Dollop is very good. Two guys with no clue discuss American History.

The one about the Willy D ( a world war 2 destroyer), and another about when a Baseball team sold beer for ten cents at a game with obv consequences are particularly funny

Do Go On - 3 Aussie comedians take it in turns to do a report on an event, person, product etc. They've done episodes on The Krays, Charlie Chaplin, Glasgow Ice Cream Wars, The Simpsons.

Hadn't heard of any of the comedians before but they're all pretty good.

The Two Mikes on the record.
Some outrageous tales of the time they spent in America whilst working for the Express. Very different from their regular Talksport shows.

PS Football.

On iTunes and SoundCloud. Has an Anglo Irish flavour as I'm involved, so of course I'd plug my own.

My favourite otherwise is the Joe Rogan Experiance. There's no set conversation and he has a variety of guests on.
